Seed 7257442347362421918 Doing this run for a category petition, also found this seed for the petition. I got a 15.450 on this seed but the file fucked up so this is my next best.
Can't wait for that color theory video so i can finally build that children's hospital
All or those people saying “texture” or “texturing” are hermits
He says the main area is 14 long, but then if you count later in the video its 15, so inconsistent its really hard to keep up when the numbers dont match from shot to shot
how do not make the fences connect in the middle for the door handles?
they are fence gates, not fences
My mind exploded 🎉
Please make the colour theory vid
What is it about snarple that brings out the karen comments and whinning about their preferred gamemode or how "this only looks good from far away". I wonder if y all post this much negativity in your favorite hermit videos. Dont want to mix colours , dont .. dont want to look at it from a "canvas" perspective, dont. The ideas presented here if learned will make u a better builder. Becoming a "good builder" means learning various techniques and applying the ones that fit tbe project you are working on. Doesnt mean doing the same exact thing over and over becuz your close minded opinion of what MC is cant tolerate new perspectives. Honestly y all.show up every week to drool over bdubs latest creation and one of the cats who has inspired bdubs to do what he does gets this level of people who misunderstand the assignment is mind boggling to me. Sry comments got my blood going.
Damn. So many aint understanding the point of this . Skill gap for real. Would love to see u make more videos snarple. Feel like the bakery is one of the most influential building servers there is. Right up there with WBC and refuge.
hey regard in the title it clearly says "tutorial" but ts aint teaching me anything. mans in the video says to build 7 blocks up and then proceeds to place 8 😭😭stfu
Best tip i learned by myself? Give yourself material and scenery limitanions... Seriously, sometimes, too much options is a problem and it can get you demotivated in building. Second thing, use trapdoors, barrels and campfires for more woods variation in your build, it really help too but it can be up to preference, still, it gives a great rustic and low maintenance appearence. Third, don't work on a project that is too big, instead, try to build one small build at a time and you would actually get a really nice natural fealing your builds. Hope that i help and have a nice day🗿🍷 Edit: just realized you were talking about creative building and not survival one... I feel stupid now...🥲
am i tripping or did he say build up 7 blocks and then build up 8...
can you do a slowene Version maybe , I absolutely love this house but cant follow this type of tutorial. that would be AMAZING😍
this was very interesting thank you 😊
i recommend people try the mobile game "i love hue" it's a fun way to to learn color theory and transitioning colors and shades like in this video, intuitively. i think its free..?
Bro is gatekeeping the build
I can only do the color shading with stone type gray blocks cause I’m color blind so when I try to do it with colored blocks it just looks crap
Building has always been the very last thing I think about in the progression of the game lol I focus way to much on getting good gear and having the access to every block way before building cool bases. And the problem is I'm always on that grind because of the mods and other stuff added to the game its a constant rebuild. I wanna know what quick efficient ways I can build that would help with progression. Like esthetic easy quick farms, ways to get ender eyes asap, ways to stop making another create world, etc.
dude i cant even make my dirt hole look good. how is this supposed to help me
Please show how this art style looks up close. Like you are actually playing the game
I hate Minecraft impressionism
this is NOOOTTT a tutorial what on earth are you expecting me to follow
Finally found someone better than bdubs
How is the 13x9 section protruding with extra 5 blocks where with mine it’s supposed to 3 blocks outwards 😵💫
I’m I building something wrong 4 blocks left upwards so 10 blocks down because it’s 14 and 10 plus 3 is supposed to be 13 not 15
Even with diversion in 20x14 side it still ends up with 4 extra blocks outwards
Music is fire in this
Even tho it was hard I FREAKING DID IT
amazing video, love how quick and to the point your build videos are, pls keep making more i love your style :)
Worst tutorial ever
snarple i love you and your builds im glad your doing yt ive seen you in other peoples videos and you seem like a real one 👌👌
Ive been doing colour theory for over 2 years now but i couldnt wuite figure out blocks This video helped it click, thank you
I wish this was block by block, i struggle to make my mind up when it comes to texturing and i ALWAYS think it looks bad 💔
Shader name?
I agree with snarple, and imo the two kinds of building thingy should be called depth and color. Depth means adding depth to the building like a sclupture and color more like painting
But this only works when looking at builds from a distance, it completely misses the point when we come up close. That's the hard part about building, it has too look good from all angles and the block pallet we can pick from becomes far more scares then. Wouldn't the real key to building nice things be to also know how close the player can get at any given point and based on that limit or expand the block pallet? In some extreme cases there will be very few blocks that can go together so perhaps even more important is to know which shape to select in order to optimise distance from which player will look at the build in order to increase our avabile colour pallet while simultaneously retaining visually pleasing shape itself.
how to build things that look like shit close up
This tutorial literally fucking sucks why even make a video of you BUILDING it when you couldve just make a video of the finished product???
skill issue
@@carrotjoos kay why esh
@@detchicco aww :(
can you make cute dragon house not big not to samll
Can I ask for the seed?
Some may say this is a bad tutorial, but this is absolutely amazing for me. I like using tutorials more as inspiration for styles more than copying and pasting someone else's build. The fast pace was really nice too.
tutorial too hard to follow
I feel like you didn't listen to the part where he said it wouldn't be a block-by-block tutorial
Didn't bother showing how to do the chimney either oml
Waaaahhhhh🚑
started making this house in survival and just destroyed it all halfway bc fck this "tutorial", the house isn't even that good compared to the effort it takes ( the effort being trying to follow along only to find out this guy just changes stuff without showing it). i can't do better, but i've seen many tutorials that actually are GOOD, do better. literally halfway through making this house and putting up with this guys "tutorial" i had a moment of clarity and thought why tf am i doing this? i am now free from the prison of this "tutorial" <3 god bless
1:00 that's actually stupid. Because in Minecraft we would experience builds and other things mostly from relatively close distance not a very far one. The "really close up" is the distance beyond which a player would rarely look at the building. This is why I actually HATE texturing, and often find heavily textured build (especially when they use blocks to pretend they are something different that they are) just ugly. Because while it may give somewhat decent effect from the distance it does that by a HUGE sacrifice of the look up close. And the house is pretty much the proper scale for Minecraft buildings. Also this mountain doesn't look boring. It looks NATURAL. Which is a very good thing. And yeah, just as I though. The "textured"/"colored" version just looks messy and uggly. It is actually LESS appealing. And the fact it doesn't look like stone is just a complete dealbreaker. If a build doesn't look nice and natural up close no amount of great looking from the distance is able to make up for this. So in the end it's not trick to build better. It's trick to build messier. And actually worse.
I do think the premise of this video is a little misleading. This video isn't really about "how to improve your building", but more "how to achieve this specific style of building" - which is: scenic natural builds that are meant to be observed from a distance and not beholden to scale or any interactivity. This advice rarely applies to someone, for example, buiding cities or adventure maps since those both require close-up detail and plausable interactivity (such as doors that function like doors). Some of the advice about gradients and shading is still useful, but the block choice is much much more restrictive when building life-size and there was no advice given on that aspect.
I think a good example of what I mean is like, titling a video "the #1 trick to improve your art" but the video is just a lesson on impressionism (which is similar to the concept in this video). Sure the end product is very pretty, but the advice is useless to an artist who paints in a completely different style
I just started a new survival game and want to make my base in a cherry biome thats absolutely rent asunder with giant ravines. Im gonna make a variation of this with those deck and walkways crossing all the death cliffs, excited!
mf just spawning parts that he didn't build on the video didnt bother mf showing oml
ikr i hate this tutorial with a passion LMAOO
The worst tutorial ever . ok very nice build but goddamn whats up with the cuts and not giving full detail on how many blocks etc . pls redo this?
As a builder who likes to make my builds look good close up as well as far away, I always want to use the more crazy combinations, like crafting tables and nether gold ore as shown, but they dont work when you are walking right by the build. there are still many great options though. great video!
can u make an interior for this plsssss 😔😔😔💔
So many things wrong with this "tutorial". You've got some sort of fish eye lens filter over SOME of your footage, it makes some blocks look like two. wtf? The build is nice but fork me dead. One of the sloppiest guides i've ever seen LOL
bros skin literally shouts artist to me
